Guilford Greens Job Posting
We're a growing micro farm (smaller than small) and looking for a farmhand! We're an inside vertical farm growing primarily microgreens. During the spring and summer of 2022, we plan to expand into leafy greens, veg and cut flowers, grown outside. We are very detail oriented and value quality, speed, attentiveness and thoroughness.
POSITION
Beginning March 1, 2022
20-30 hours/week
Days: Monday-Friday
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Potential for year round work
TASKS
Harvest/Pack
Wash/Sanitize/Fill Trays
Water Greens
Planting
Compost & Other maintenance related stuff.
REQUIREMENTS
Hardworking
Serious attention to detail
Can work in any weather (hot, cold, rain to a reasonable extent)
Can work alone efficiently
Ability to solve problems and think creatively
Able to lift 50 lbs
Farming experience is helpful, not required.
We will train you.
