In case you're interested, it's wild ramps season. Spring is when the wild ramps appear in the woods. It's a short season. They are plentiful in some places and not in others. You have to look hard for them. They are a delicious, seasonal spring plant, a member of the allium family with a delicate scallion flavor. You should try them....so many ways to cook and eat wild ramps. We should have a very limited supply of them next weekend, so be on the look out, and stay tuned...!
